BIO / ALEXIS BROWN
Alexis Brown is a storyteller drawn to the places most people never see—deep reef caves, quiet forests at dawn, and the small, wild corners of everyday life. She began her career behind the camera in New York, studying filmmaking and building sets for narrative films, but her path quickly led her somewhere less predictable: underwater.
After moving to Australia, Alexis became an underwater photographer on the Great Barrier Reef. She spent her days diving with sea turtles, capturing divers special moments at 18 meters below the surface, and seeing the kind of marine life that disappears in a blink. She learned to read the ocean like a character in a film—shifting moods, unseen beauty, hidden tension, and fragile magic.
After the Great Barrier Reef, Alexis fell in love with the art of photography. Her work now blends wildlife, travel, and cinematic storytelling. From reefs in Queensland to mountain ranges in New England, Alexis documents the connection between people and the planet we live on. Whether she’s photographing a shark drifting through deep blue or a quiet moment between a traveler and a landscape, her goal is always the same: to show the world in a way that makes people feel.
Today, Alexis works internationally as a photographer, filmmaker, and visual content creator. She offers print sales, commissioned work, and creative partnerships dedicated to conservation, adventure, and the raw story behind every image.
